The most important part
HabitCheer is a shared family app, so it is not a private diary. Parents and authorized adults can see your routines, completed work, notes, points, wishes, reward requests, proposals, and photos you attach for review.
People outside your household cannot browse your profile. There is no public feed, messaging, friend list, or sibling leaderboard.
1. What is saved about you?
HabitCheer saves the information needed to give you a daily plan and keep your history accurate:
- your nickname, age band, preset avatar, and household;
- your routines, chores, cues, schedules, proposals, and Family Pact acknowledgements;
- what you submit, whether it was approved, and any respectful redo reason;
- your points, streaks, bonuses, Wish List, and reward history;
- optional notes and photos you choose or are asked to attach;
- your device session, notification choice, and limited security records.
You do not need to give HabitCheer an email address while you are a teen. We do not ask for your exact birthday, school, home address, contacts, location, health information, or advertising ID.
2. What can your parent see?
Parents and authorized adult reviewers in your household can see the information they need to organize routines and review work. That includes your task list, history, submissions, attached proof, points, wishes, proposals, and reward requests.
Another teen in your household does not get access to your private proof photo just because they are a family member. HabitCheer also does not rank you against a sibling.
Before joining, ask your parent what they expect, when a photo might be requested, and how your family plans to use points and rewards.
3. What happens to a proof photo?
Photo proof is optional unless a routine clearly says it is required. Before taking or choosing a photo, avoid faces, school papers, IDs, mail, computer screens, and anything that shows where you live.
- The app accepts only supported image types and sizes.
- The service makes a clean copy that removes hidden metadata such as location.
- The photo is stored privately with encryption.
- Only you and authorized household reviewers can open it.
- The photo and thumbnail are scheduled for automatic deletion no later than 30 days after upload under the current settings.
- You can request earlier removal or account deletion.
HabitCheer does not use facial recognition, ask artificial intelligence to judge your work, train models with your photo, or have people routinely inspect it outside your household.
4. What do points mean?
Points are a private counter inside your family. They are not money, cannot be bought, transferred, or cashed out, and do not belong to HabitCheer as a real-world reward.
A Wish List target means you can ask your family about a reward. It does not guarantee that a parent will approve or deliver it. If a request is accepted, points are taken only after the parent says it was delivered and you confirm you received it.
5. What HabitCheer does not do
- No ads or selling your personal information.
- No public profile, followers, feed, chat, or friend discovery.
- No location, contacts, microphone, health, or biometric collection.
- No sibling winners, losers, or performance ranking.
- No automated discipline, personality score, or behavior diagnosis.
- No hidden penalties, negative point balances, or cash rewards.
6. What choices do you have?
You can:
- ask questions before accepting a family invitation or Pact;
- propose a routine or suggest a change instead of silently accepting it;
- choose whether to attach a photo when proof is optional;
- prepare an export of the information visible to you;
- ask a parent to remove a proof photo or profile;
- request deletion or privacy help from inside the app;
- contact Longia LLC directly if you do not want to ask through a parent.
If you turn 18, HabitCheer will ask you to sign in with Apple and accept the adult Terms and Privacy Notice before continuing as an adult participant.
7. How to get help
For a privacy question, photo-removal request, export, deletion request, or report that someone under 13 is using HabitCheer, email support@longiallc.com.
Tell us what you need, but do not email an invitation code, password, proof photo, or other sensitive family information. We may ask for a safe way to verify which profile is yours.
